Doelstelling
Onderzoeken waarde van Lenalidomide + MP vs standaard MPT.
Inclusiecriteria
- Leeftijd > 65 jaar.
- Nieuw gediagnosticeerd symptomatisch multipel myeloom:
- monoklonale plasmacellen in BM of plasmacytoom;
- M-proteine in serum en/of urine;
- ROTI.
- Karnofsky score ≥ 60.
Exclusiecriteria
- Eerdere chemotherapie, behalve een korte behandeling met corticosteroiden (equivalent met 4 dagen 40 mg dexamethason).
- Granulocyten < 1,5 x 109/L of trombocyten < 75 x 109/L of hemoglobine < 5 mmol/L of serum kreatinine > 221 μmol/L of ASAT/ALAT > 3x bovengrens normaalwaarde.
- Maligniteit ≤ 3 jaar behalve basaalcel carcinoom, plaveiselcelcarcinoom.
- Neuropathie ≥ graad 2.
- HIV positief of actieve hepatitis A, B, C.
